and Cainan, Maleleel, Jared,

καὶ Καϊνᾶν, Μαλελεὴλ, Ἰάρεδ,

Enoch, Mathusala, Lamech,

Ἐνὼχ, Μαθουσάλα, Λάμεχ,

Noe: the sons of Noe, Sem, Cham, Japheth.

Νῶε· υἱοὶ Νῶε, Σὴμ, Χὰμ, Ἰάφεθ.

The sons of Japheth, Gamer, Magog, Madaim, Jovan, Helisa, Thobel, Mosoch, and Thiras.

Υἱοὶ Ἰάφεθ, Γαμὲρ, Μαγὼγ, Μαδαῒμ, Ἰωϋὰν, Ἑλισὰ, Θοβὲλ, Μοσὸχ, καὶ Θίρας.

And the sons of Gamer, Aschanaz, and Riphath, and Thorgama.

Καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Γαμὲρ, Ἀσχανὰζ, καὶ Ῥιφὰθ, καὶ Θοργαμά.

And the sons of Jovan, Helisa, and Tharsis, the Citians, and Rhodians.

Καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰωϋὰν, Ἑλισὰ, καὶ Θαρσὶς, Κίτιοι, καὶ Ῥόδιοι.

And the sons of Cham, Chus, and Mesraim, Phud and Chanaan.

Καὶ υἱοὶ Χὰμ, Χοὺς, καὶ Μεσραῒμ, Φοὺδ, καὶ Χαναάν.

And the sons of Chus, Saba, and Evila, and Sabatha, and Regma, and Sebethaca: and the sons of Regma, Saba, and Dadan.

Καὶ υἱοὶ Χοὺς, Σαβὰ, καὶ Εὐιλὰ, καὶ Σαβαθὰ, καὶ Ῥεγμὰ, καὶ Σεβεθαχά· καὶ υἱοὶ Ῥεγμὰ, Σαβὰ, καὶ Δαδάν.

And Chus begot Nebrod: he began to be a mighty hunter on the earth.

Καὶ Χοὺς ἐγέννησε τὸν Νεβρώδ· οὗτος ἤρξατο εἶναι γίγας κυνηγὸς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.

The sons of Sem, Ælam, and Assur,

Υἱοὶ Σὴμ, Αἰλὰμ, καὶ Ἀσσοὺρ,

καὶ Ἀρφαξὰδ, Σάλα,

Eber, Pheleg, Ragan,

Ἔβερ, Φαλὲγ, Ῥαγὰν,

Seruch, Nachor, Tharrha,

Σεροὺχ, Ναχὼρ, Θάῤῥα,

Abraam.

Ἁβραάμ·

And the sons of Abraam, Isaac, and Ismael.

Υἱοὶ δὲ Ἁβραὰμ, Ἰσαὰκ, καὶ Ἰσμαήλ.

And these are their generations: the first-born of Ismael, Nabæoth, and Kedar, Nabdeel, Massam,

Αὗται δὲ αἱ γενέσεις αὐτῶν· πρωτότοκος Ἰσμαὴλ, Ναβαιὼθ, καὶ Κηδὰρ, Ναβδεὴλ, Μασσὰμ,

Masma, Iduma, Masse, Chondan, Thæman,

Μασμὰ, Ἰδουμὰ, Μασσὴ, Χονδὰν, Θαιμὰν,

Jettur, Naphes, Kedma: these are the sons of Ismael.

Ἰεττοὺρ, Ναφὲς, Κεδμά· οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ἰσμαήλ.

And the sons of Chettura Abraam's concubine:—and she bore him Zembram, Jexan, Madiam, Madam, Sobac, Soe: and the sons of Jexan; Dædan, and Sabai;

Καὶ υἱοὶ Χεττούρας παλλακῆς Ἁβραάμ· καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Ζεμβρὰμ, Ἰεξὰν, Μαδιὰμ, Μαδὰμ, Σοβὰκ, Σωέ· καὶ υἱοὶ Ἰεξὰν, Δαιδὰν, καὶ Σαβαΐ.

and the sons of Madiam; Gephar, and Opher, and Enoch, and Abida, and Eldada; all these were the sons of Chettura.

Καὶ υἱοὶ Μαδιὰμ, Γεφὰρ, καὶ Ὀφὲρ, καὶ Ἐνὼχ, καὶ Ἀβιδὰ, καὶ Ἐλδαδά· πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ Χεττούρας.

And Abraam begot Isaac: and the sons of Isaac were Jacob, and Esau.

Καὶ ἐγέννησεν Ἁβραὰμ τὸν Ἰσαάκ· καὶ υἱοὶ Ἰσαὰκ, Ἰακὼβ, καὶ Ἡσαῦ.

The sons of Esau, Eliphaz, and Raguel, and Jeul, and Jeglom, and Core.

Υἱοὶ Ἡσαῦ, Ἐλιφὰζ, καὶ Ῥαγουὴλ, καὶ Ἰεοὺλ, καὶ Ἰεγλὸμ, καὶ Κορέ.

The sons of Eliphaz: Thæman, and Omar, Sophar, and Goötham, and Kenez, and Thamna, and Amalec.

Υἱοὶ Ἐλιφὰζ, Θαιμὰν, καὶ Ὠμὰρ, Σωφὰρ, καὶ Γοωθὰμ, καὶ Κενὲζ, καὶ Θαμνὰ, καὶ Ἀμαλήκ.

And the sons of Raguel, Naches, Zare, Some, and Moze.

Καὶ υἱοὶ Ῥαγουὴλ, Ναχὲς, Ζαρὲ, Σομὲ, καὶ Μοζέ.

The sons of Seir, Lotan, Sobal, Sebegon, Ana, Deson, Osar, and Disan.

Υἱοὶ Σηῒρ, Λωτὰν, Σωβὰλ, Σεβεγὼν, Ἀνὰ, Δησὼν, Ὠσὰρ, καὶ Δισάν.

And the sons of Lotan, Chorri, and Æman; and the sister of Lotan was Thamna.

Καὶ υἱοὶ Λωτὰν, Χοῤῥὶ, καὶ Αἰμὰν· ἀδελφὴ δὲ Λωτὰν Θαμνά. Υἱοὶ Σωβὰλ, Ἀλὼν, Μαχανὰθ, Ταιβὴλ, Σωφὶ, καὶ Ὠνὰν·

The sons of Sobal; Alon, Machanath, Tæbel, Sophi, and Onan: and the sons of Sebegon; Æth, and Sonan.

υἱοὶ δὲ Σεβεγὼν, Ἀῒθ, καὶ Σωνάν.

The sons of Sonan, Dæson: and the sons of Dæson; Emeron, and Asebon, and Jethram, and Charran.

Υἱοὶ Σωνὰν. Δαισών· υἱοὶ δὲ Δαισὼν, Ἐμερὼν, καὶ Ἀσεβὼν, καὶ Ἰεθρὰμ, καὶ Χαῤῥάν.

And the sons of Hosar, Balaam, and Zucam, and Acan: the sons of Disan, Os, and Aran.

Καὶ υἱοὶ Ὡσὰρ, Βαλαὰμ, καὶ Ζουκὰμ, καὶ Ἀκάν· υἱοὶ Δισὰν, Ὢς καὶ Ἀράν.

And these are their kings, Balac the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dennaba.

Καὶ οὗτοι οἱ βασιλεῖς αὐτῶν· Βαλὰκ υἱὸς Βεὼρ, καὶ ὄνομα τῇ πόλει αὐτοῦ Δενναβά.

And Balac died, and Jobab the son of Zara of Bosorrha reigned in his stead.

Καὶ ἀπέθανε Βαλὰκ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντʼ αὐτοῦ Ἰωβὰβ υἱὸς Ζαρὰ ἐκ Βοσόῤῥας.

And Jobab died, and Asom of the land of the Thæmanites reigned in his stead.

Καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ἰωβὰβ καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντʼ αὐτοῦ Ἁσὸμ ἐκ γῆς Θαιμανών.

And Asom died, and Adad the son of Barad reigned in his stead, who smote Madiam in the plain of Moab: and the name of his city was Gethaim.

Καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ἁσόμ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντʼ αὐτοῦ Ἀδὰδ υἱὸς Βαρὰδ, ὁ πατάξας Μαδιὰμ ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ Μωὰβ· καὶ ὄνομα τῇ πόλει αὐτοῦ Γεθαίμ.

And Adad died, and Sebla of Masecca reigned in his stead.

Καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ἁδὰδ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντʼ αὐτοῦ Σεβλὰ ἐκ Μασεκκάς.

And Sebla died, and Saul of Rhoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

Καὶ ἀπέθανε Σεβλὰ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντʼ αὐτοῦ Σαοὺλ ἐκ Ῥωβὼθ τῆς παρὰ ποταμόν.

And Saul died, and Balaennor son of Achobor reigned in his stead.

Καὶ ἀπέθανε Σαοὺλ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντʼ αὐτοῦ Βαλαεννὼρ υἱὸς Ἀχωβώρ.

And Balaennor died, and Adad son of Barad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Phogor.

Καὶ ἀπέθανε Βαλαεννὼρ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντʼ αὐτοῦ Ἀδὰδ υἱὸς Βαρὰδ, καὶ ὄνομα τῇ πόλει αὐτοῦ, Φογώρ.

The princes of Edom: prince Thamna, prince Golada, prince Jether,

Ἡγεμόνες Ἐδώμ· ἡγεμὼν Θαμνὰ, ἡγεμὼν Γωλαδὰ, ἡγεμὼν Ἰεθὲρ,

prince Elibamas, prince Elas, prince Phinon,

ἡγεμὼν Ἐλιβαμὰς, ἡγεμὼν Ἠλὰς, ἡγεμὼν Φινὼν,

prince Kenez, prince Thæman, prince Babsar, prince Magediel,

ἡγεμὼν Κενέζ, ἡγεμὼν Θαιμὰν, ἡγεμὼν Βαβσὰρ,

prince Zaphoin. These are the princes of Edom.

ἡγεμὼν Μαγεδιὴλ, ἡγεμὼν Ζαφωΐν· οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες Ἐδώμ.
