Editorial interpretationThe faith of Nicaea stands, and the heresies are anathematized by name: the Eunomians, the Arians, the Semi-Arians, the Sabellians, the Marcellians, and the Apollinarians.
Canon 7The reception of heretics
Editorial interpretationCertain heretics returning are received by chrismation upon renouncing their heresy; others, whose baptism was invalid, are received as pagans, by baptism.
